There are only three post war records of this species, probably vagrants. In Lucas British Dragonflies (1900) it is mentioned as being in the Birmingham district.

A very unusual sighting of a vagrant of this species was made in July 2008 in a garden at Dunchurch. There is now considerable doubt about this record.
